HOW TO TRANSFER EXISTING ALLOTMENT BUSINESS
FROM BANK OF AMERICA TO WESBANCO
Bank of America will no longer be handling allotment payments, effective June 30, 2023. WesBanco Bank, Inc. (WesBanco) will now handle future allotment payments for your life insurance premium.
In order to transfer your existing allotment to WesBanco, you will need to do the following:
- Complete and return the WesBanco form (Bi-Weekly or Monthly) to GPM Life that was previously mailed to you. If you do not have the form, it can be downloaded from this website.
- Log into your payroll system. The primary systems are:
- Once you are in your payroll system, go to the area that says allotment or pay changes (some systems may have additional steps to get to this point).
- You should then be able to view your existing allotment(s). Go to the option that allows you to change the allotment. You will need to change the allotment from Bank of America to WesBanco.
- For Bi-Weekly allotment, complete the bi-weekly form and change the routing number from 011900445 to 0839-0165-0 and the account number from CGS0680 to your social security number followed by 5719
- For Monthly allotment, complete the monthly form and change the routing number from 011900445 to 0839-0165-0 and the account number from CGS0680 to your social security number followed by 9545
- If your pay system does not allow you to make this change you will need to cancel the allotment going to Bank of America, and start a new one with WesBanco.
- Routing Number: 0839-0165-0
- Account Number: Your social security number followed by 5719 (Bi-Weekly) or 9545 (Monthly)
- Account Type: Saving
- Amount: Same as existing
- In most systems, there is a two-step confirmation process.
- Postal employees will get a confirmation number in a neon green box e.
- MyPay employees will get a message with the pay period the transaction will be reflected.
- You will need to click confirm/submit or it will not process.
- Please take a picture of the input and confirmation screen. This will enable GPM to determine where the problem is in the event the allotment does not go through.
